On August 23, 2016, leadership of VIAM and National research center “Institute named after N.E. Zhukovsky” took part in a meeting, which was held at the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials.

Within the framework of the meeting VIAM`s propositions in a part of complex scientific-technical projects on aviation materials and production technologies of new generation for the period 2016-2030 were considered.

As Evgeny N. Kablov, Academician of RAS, Director General of VIAM pointed out, that close cooperation between VIAM and National research center “Institute named after N.E. Zhukovsky” was necessary to implement new technological projects.

According to him, the scientific organizations will carry out scientific-research and development works, in particular, in the field of advanced materials and technologies in constructions of articles of aviation engineering in order to achieve the abovementioned purpose.

 It should be remembered, that a cooperation agreement was signed between VIAM and National research center “Institute named after N.E. Zhukovsky” in June that year.
