On June 9, 2016 Oleg E. Bocharov, Leader of Moscow Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship visited the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM).

In the course of the visit, he got acquainted with the main directions of VIAM`s activity, scientific-research and manufacturing complexes, laboratories, high-technology low-tonnage manufactures.

Academician of RAS Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of VIAM told the guest about the institute`s achievements in the field of developments of materials and technologies of new generation, in particular, he informed about VIAM`s success in development and implementation of additive technologies. According to him, additive technologies should become the key direction of development of domestic industry.

Oleg Bocharov highly appreciated scientific-technological equipment of VIAM and its productive capacity. According to him, modern technological base of the institute is efficiently used to provide our country with necessary modern materials and technologies.
