 On January, 14, 2016 representatives of OCSiAl visited the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM). Within a framework of the visit, Mikhail R. Predtechensky, vice-president of OCSiAl, member of the Board of directors, corresponding member of RAS and Alexander E. Bezrodnij, vice-president of OCSiAl got acquainted with research and development and production base of the institute.

Academician of RAS, Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of VIAM demonstrated to the guests developments of the institute in the field of composite materials, as well as high-technology research and manufacturing complexes of raw material processing.

Mikhail Predtechensky and Alexander Bezrodnij highly appreciated scientific achievements of VIAM and noted that the institute was well equipped with modern equipment, allowing to carry out wide set of researches and tests of materials and components.

In the course of the past working meeting, issues of joint partnership and cooperation were discussed. In particular, it was spoken about the implementation of joint program to involve single-shell carbon nanotubes into materials of new generation, and that would allow to improve characteristics of materials essentially.
