In accordance with the order of the Government of the Russian Federation № 2990-p dated 24 December, 2015, the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) entered to the list of scientific organizations, which had maintained the status of State Research Center of the Russian Federation. In addition, 42 scientific organizations confirmed their status of SRC.

It should be remembered, that State Scientific Centers are included into the Association of SCR and Academician of RAS Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of VIAM is President of it.
