On October, 27, 2015 a signing ceremony for a triangular cooperation agreement between the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM), CJSC «Management Company Autocomponent» and JSC «Management Company GasServiceComposite» was held in Moscow.

According to the signed document, the parties intend to interact with each other in the field of development and application of nonmetallic materials for production of interior components of modern aviation engineering, and also for benefits of other domestic industries. Besides, they are going to provide mutual support to implement import substitution programs and also to develop the production of composite materials of new generation in Russia.

«Today we have signed an agreement on the initiative and with the active involvement of the Department of Aviation Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation (Minpromtorg in Russia). The agreement is a striking example of cooperation in the field of science, production and business in the interests of domestic industry. Undoubtedly, the reached arrangements are essential to production of Russian high-quality products, which will be competitive both in the domestic and in the foreign markets», - Academician of RAS, Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of VIAM pointed out. According to him, VIAM had not only sufficient experience, but extensive, modern science and technological and testing capabilities for that purpose. «The application of new materials for creation of interior of domestic planes eliminates the dependence on Western manufacturers and improves comfort and security of our aircraft», - Evgeny Kablov pointed out.

Aleksey V. Safronov, Director General of CJSC «Management Company Autocomponent» reported, that “We use new materials in our projects, developed at VIAM and thereby we plan to improve qualitative and performance properties, including interior components of airplanes. According to him, «Autocomponent» pretends to take part in projects of «Sukhoi Superjet 100» and «MC-21».  «At present, components for these airplanes are supplied by foreign companies, but it is obvious, that interior components of modern airplanes should be produced from domestic materials in Russia within the framework of implementation of import substitution programs. Considering the fact, that we can do it», - Aleksey Safronov pointed out. He also informed, that «we plan to apply the innovative materials of VIAM in interiors and exteriors of high-speed trains, ship, and trams. At the same time the unique properties, applied polymer and composite materials of new generation will significantly extend the life of all kinds of transport».

Oleg N. Zaytsev, Director General of JSC «Management Company GasServiceComposite» informed, that «In August a new production line of gas cylinders for compressed natural gas was launched in Nizhny Novgorod. The gas cylinders will be applied in public transport, agriculture, municipal engineering and cars «Eco-Taxi». «A production of mobile gas filling stations, which are able to refill a whole vehicle fleet at once, has been started in the framework of implementation of the state program for conversion of transport to gas». – he pointed out.  Oleg Zaytsev pointed out, that «we plan to apply the developments of VIAM in gas-cylinder equipment to improve performance specifications of our products and we reduce production costs by using domestic raw materials». «It is also important, that we get synergistic effect in the field of the development of composite materials: our enterprise has, at least, five domestic suppliers», - Director General of JSC «Management Company GasServiceComposite» concluded.

At the end of the event Evgeny Kablov gave Oleg Zaytsev and Aleksey Safronov books titled “Tendencies and benchmarks of innovative development of Russia”.

It should be noted, that before the signing ceremony the guests got acquainted with the exposition of VIAM, where were presented the components of aviation and aerospace engineering, developed at the institute. The exposition attracted great interest of the attendees.
