On October, 19, 2015 Academician of RAS, Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials presented personal certificates of donation to employees of VIAM, who had transferred  funds for establishment of a monument to the 7^th Bauman division of the national militia.

Organizers of the action “Public monument at people`s expense” grant certificates of donation in acknowledgement of help in the establishment of the monument. The document was signed by G. V. Anichkin, Head of the Basmanny Municipal District, Chairman of the Council of Deputies and R.A. Tarasov, Chairman of the Council of Veterans.

It should be remembered, that a labour collective of the institute gathered and transferred to the Regional public organization of Heroes of Socialists Labour and Full Cavalier of the Order of Glory over 120 thousand rubles.

  “I want to say thanks all who responded to the call to help in the establishment of the monument to warriors-militiamen, - Evgeny Kablov declared. – it is truly noble cause and tribute to the memory of died in the terrible war, those who gave their lives to defense our country against enemies.”

It should be added, that a solemn ceremony of the opening of the monument was held in the center of Moscow in the Razgulyay square on October, 14, 2015 and a delegation of VIAM took part in it.
