On August 28, 2015, negotiations between VIAM and Naberezhnye Chelny and Zakamsky Region Mechanical Egineers Association have been held at the International Aviation and Space Show MAKS-2015.

Dmitry I. Kogan, head of scientific-research bureau of VIAM, Sergey Mayorov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association and Leysan R. Abzalilova, Vice-President of the Kama innovation territorial and production cluster attended the negotiations.

The Parties have discussed the prospects of possible cooperation in the development of new materials and improvement of existing structural and functional materials, in conduction of comprehensive researches and environmental testing of materials.

The Naberezhnye Chelny and Zakamsky Region Mechanical Engineers Association unites about 100 engineering companies of the Kama innovation territorial and production cluster “INNOCOM” in 6 areas of the Trans-Kama region of the Republic of Tatarstan and the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, which is the center of engineering and manufacturing of automotive components.

The main task of the Naberezhnye Chelny and Zakamsky Region Mechanical Engineers Association is assistance in promotion of products of the members of the Association to state corporations and large enterprises.
