El 29 de Junio de 2015 en la plaza central del Instituto Ruso de Investigaci?n Cientifica de Materiales de Aviaci?n se celebr? el mitin solemne dedicado al 83 aniversario desde el d?a de la formaci?n de VIAM.

En el discurso el Director General de VIAM, Acad?mico de la Academia de Ciencias de Rusia Evgeny Nikolaevich Kablov felicit? los trabajadores del instituto con el d?a memorable y dese? a sus empleados de los ?xotos en la actividad cient?fica y de producci?n. ?l not? que “hemos pasado juntos la v?a def?cil del momento de la bancarrota de nuestro instituto antes de la creaci?n del centro ?nico de ciencia de los materiales con la base moderna de investigaci?n y de producci?n y la colectividad de los profesionales del asunto”.

Adem?s, ?l llam? a honrar las tradiciones, la memoria de la mayor generaci?n, el principio de la continuidad de las generaciones y el servicio al asunto. “Es muy importante recordar las personas, que estaban en los inicios de la formaci?n de VIAM, tambi?n los que apoyaba su alto prestigio durante de muchas d?cadas”.

Evgeny Kablov entreg? tambien los diplomas a los vencedores de la competici?n “Materialoved del futuro” para los graduados de las escuelas de Mosc?.

A su vez el Presidente de la Asociaci?n “La Uni?n de la construcci?n de aviaci?nes motores» (ASSAD), el profesor V?ctor Mikh?ilovich Chuyko felicit? a todos los empleados de VIAM con la fecha memorable, expres? su gratitud “por la contribuci?n grandiosa al desarrollo de la construcci?n aeron?utica nacional” y dese? m?s prosperidad.

En conclusi?n del mitin solemne Evgeny Kablov entreg? las medallas de oro por los cient?ficos destacados, los ingenieros y los empleados de VIAM.

On June 29, 2015, a solemn rally devoted to the 83^rd anniversary of the foundation of VIAM has been held at the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials.

The event was started with a symbolic action: academician of RAS Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of VIAM, attached a fragment of the collective card, which had been pre-painted by employees of all departments of the Institute; thereby he finished that composition.

In his speech, he congratulated the employees of VIAM on the memorable date and wished them success in scientific and production activities. He pointed out that “Together we have passed a hard way beginning from the bankruptcy of our Institute up to creation of a unique materials science center with modern research and manufacturing facilities, where works a team of high-skilled professionals”.

Besides, he called up to revere traditions, memory of the older generation, the principle of continuity of generations and service to the common cause. “It is very important to remember those people who were at the origins of foundation of VIAM and also those who protected the high reputation of the Institute during many decades.

As Evgeny Kablov has declared, “The situation in the world has been aggravating; there is redivision of spheres of influence and technologically developed states only can hold out in the struggle. Russia should aim to acquire new knowledge, which allows to develop technologies to ensure our self-sufficiency, independence and ability to protect own interests”. According to him, the role of materials of new generation is colossal in this process. “Without materials of the new generation one cannot create any technology and any modern equipment,” the head of VIAM pointed out.

Evgeny Kablov presented diplomas to graduates of Moscow schools – winners of the contest entitled “Materials scientist of the future”. Among the winners were V.N. Vlasevsky, I.I. Vlasov, F.V. Grab, M.V. Ivanyan, P.E. Kuznetsova, D.M. Lebedev, M.A. Lobkov, E.A. Sabinskaya, I.A. Hanafin, A.M. Chernyshev. 

In turn, Professor Victor M. Chuyko, president of the International Association of Aero-Engines Manufacturers (Russian acronym ASSAD), has congratulated all employees of VIAM on this remarkable date, thanked the Institute for "a huge contribution to the development of the domestic aviation industry" and wished them the further prosperity.

"Today I have visited your conference and I got added evidence that the science will save the domestic aviation industry and at the forefront of this progress is VIAM", - said the President of ASSAD.

Victor Chuiko said that the Homeland and the Russian President appreciated highly the work of scientists of VIAM, which was confirmed once again when Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of the Institute, was awarded the State Prize of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology. "This is your joint victory, the victory of brilliant ideas and hard work. I am convinced that VIAM is the hope of our Homeland, the aviation industry and domestic economics", he emphasized.

He also presented the honorary diplomas of ASSAD to a number of VIAM employees: A.N. Bolshakov, S.V. Ovsepyan, E.A. Eliseev, S.A. Krylov, A.N. Babin, A.E. Raskutin.

Then the floor was given to Konstantin Tatarintsev, rector of the church of the Ascension of the Christ behind the Serpukhov gate, head of the Air Force Sub-department of the Synodal Department of the Moscow Patriarchate for Relations with armed forces and law-enforcement agencies, the Air Force Reserve Captain in the reserve. He congratulated the employees of VIAM on the 83th anniversary and wished them emotional equilibrium and strength of spirit to solve difficult professional tasks.

Finally, Evgeny Kablov awarded gold medals to the best scientists, engineers and employees of VIAM.

It is noteworthy that on the eve of the solemn meeting the winners of the materials scientists of the future "and Archpriest Konstantin Tatarintcev VIAM visited the museum, where they were informed about some interesting facts of the domestic materials science, unique developments for various industries. The exposition dedicated to the history of VIAM was of particular interest of the visitors.

In addition, on the eve of the 83rd anniversary all employees of the Institute have received the corporate credit cards with “VIAM” logo.

It should be noted that on June 29 VIAM hosted the II All-Russia Scientific Conference "The role of fundamental researches in realization of the Strategic directions of the development of materials and technologies of their processing for the period until 2030".
