On June 17, 2015, a meeting of the working group of the Scientific Coordination Council (SCC) dedicated to the implementation of the subprogram "Development of the rare metals industry”, which is fulfilled under the state program "The development of industry and improving its competitiveness”, was held at the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM).

During the event, data on research and development (R&D) performed by institutions under the state contracts were discussed. It is expected that the final results will be presented at a meeting of the Scientific Coordination Council.

It should be noted that the main task of the working group of SCC is an examination of scientific importance and implementation of R&D in industrial production for open tenders to conclude state contracts. The working group composition was approved by Gleb S. Nikitin, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
