Three projects developed by representatives of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) were awarded with diplomas and a medal of the XIII International Specialized Exhibition "Biotech World 2015".

In particular, the winning projects "Concrete products and structures with non-metallic reinforcement resistant to corrosion under exposure to biological environments and climatic factors", "Stress-strain state of a model of a prestressed wooden structure exposed to climatic impacts" and "New vinyl ethereal, polyester and epoxy composites resistant to sea and tropical climate and biologically active media" were awarded.

Academician Evgeny Kablov Director General of VIAM, Denis V. Grashchenkov, head of scientific-research bureau “Nonmetallic materials, metallic composite materials”, Aleksey N. Lutsenko, head of Testing Center of VIAM, Sergey V. Panin, head of GCTC VIAM, Oleg V. Starstev, deputy head of GCTC VIAM, Nikolai Y. Podzhivotov, senior scientist and Ekaterina Varchenko, engineer are among developers of these projects.

It should be noted that the exhibition was held in Moscow on March 17-20, 2015, with the support of the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of Moscow. "Biotech World 2015" is one of the largest Russian exhibitions on biotechnology; it was attended by more than 110 exhibitors from seven countries.
