In accordance with the order №793 of the Ministry of Education and Science of July 25, 2014, the listing of peer-reviewed Russian scientific publications, where the main results of theses for candidate and doctor’s degree should be published, is in progress. The journals “Proceedings of VIAM” and “Aviation materials and technologies” issued by VIAM were included into the renewed list of scientific publications of the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC).

It is noteworthy, that more than two thousand journals and magazines were earlier included in this list and now 163 publications were added in it. It is assumed that this list will be updated weekly until December 15, 2015.

As it follows from instructions of the Ministry of Education and Science, since July 1, 2015 the articles published in journals, which weren`t included in the new edition of the list of peer-reviewed scientific publications of HAC won`t be considered as those published in peer- reviewed scientific journals.

The updated list of journals, where the main results of theses for candidate and doctor’s degree should be published, consists of 99 peer-reviewed scientific journals, whose current volumes (or their translated versions) are included into the international databases and quotation systems and 64 scientific journals indexed in Russia.
