On May 25, 2015, Academician of RAS Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM), has taken part in a meeting of the coordination council of the Program of fundamental scientific researches in the Russian Federation for a long-term period (2013-2020). The meeting was held at the Ministry of Education and Science of RF.

In the context of the meeting, the participants considered suggestions of the Russian Academia of Science amend to changes of the Program of fundamental scientific researches in RF.

The main functions of the coordination council are as follows: preparation of suggestions on definition of the priority directions of the fundamental scientific researches, coordination of development and implementation of fundamental research plans of the Program’s participants, approval of guidance documents and mechanisms of public reporting about implementation of the Program, preparation of recommendations on the use of results of fundamental scientific researches in the course of implementation of federal target programs and increasing.
