VIAM

On June 28, 2017, the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) accomplished 85 years.

A solemn event, dedicated the 85^th anniversary from the date of foundation of the institute, took place in the concert hall “Cosmos” on that day. The huge hall was filled with the employees of VIAM and numerous guests – business partners and colleagues from regions, representatives of scientific world, universities and state corporations. 

Evgeny N. Kablov, Director General of VIAM was awarded with the Gratitude of the President of RF on the stage of “Cosmos”.

VIAM received letters of congratulations from Dmitry A. Medvedev, the Prime-Minister of the Government of RF, Valentina I. Matvienko, the Chairman of the Federation Council of RF and Vyacheslav V. Volodin, the Chairman of the State Duma of R.F.

On June 28, a solemn meeting was held on the central square of VIAM.

On June 27, 28, 29, guests visited VIAM to congratulate the institute on the anniversary.

Representatives from federal and regional executive bodies, state corporations, leaders of industrial enterprises, scientific organizations and institutes of higher education congratulated VIAM.

On June 27, the II International scientific and technical conference “New materials and technologies of advanced processing of raw materials as the basis of innovational development for the Russian economy” was held at VIAM.

On June 29, the employees of the institute were awarded the gold medals “85 years of VIAM”.

 Within the framework of solemn events, devoted to the 85^th anniversary from the date of foundation of VIAM, a ceremony of cancellation of art stamped envelope took place in the institute on June 23.
