Some of these days a meeting of the Organizational committee of the contest “Aviation worker of the year” was held to sum up the results of the contest in 8 nominations. On the basis of 2015 year over 100 works of enterprises, organizations and creative teams were examined. Assessment of the works was made by130 members of the Expert Board.

Representatives of 21 enterprises of aviation industry became laureates and winners of the contest, including employees of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM).

The authoring teams of VIAM became the winners in the following nominations:

- «For development of new technologies» – the second place (M.L. Vaganova, O.Yu. Sorokin);

- «For contribution to the development of regulatory framework in aviation and aircraft industry» – the second place (S.Yu. Skripachev, ,M.S. Doriomedov, N.O. Yakovlev, V.D. Krylov);

- «The best innovative project» – the third place (V.V. Antipov, G.G. Klochkov, B.V. Ovsyannikov, M.S. Oglodkov, Yu.Yu. Klochkova).

It should be noted, the winners award ceremony will take place in the World Trade Center on September 29.
