On August 29, 2013 at the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2013 the management of All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) had a meeting with representatives of Chinese Academy of Aviation Fundamental Science АVIC TECH. During the meeting between VIAM and AVIC TECH the Framework Agreement on cooperation and joint activities was signed. Its goal - to develop cooperation in the field of civil aviation and exchange of scientific and technical information.

The document was signed by member Evgeny Kablov, Director General of VIAM, RAS and Liu Lin, President of АVIC TECH.

The agreement was signed after the 2nd Russian-Chinese Symposium "Advanced materials for modern civil aeronautical engineering of the  XXI century", held at VIAM on August 27, 2013.

The meeting was also attended by Zhou Guoqiang, Vice-President of AVIC TECH, Zhou Jun, Vice-President of the International Cooperation Department of AVIC TECH, Denis Grashchenkov, Deputy Director General of VIAM and Vladislav Zyryanov, head of International cooperation department of VIAM.

The Chinese delegation also got familiar with the exposition of VIAM at MAKS-2013. Guests from China gave a high appraisal to the presented information materials and samples.
