Valery I. Gromov, Head of laboratory of the All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) became a winner of the Prize named after A.A. Bochvar.
The scientist received high award for the work “Metallurgical foundations for development of advanced ultra-strong constructional and functional nanostructured steels by optimal alloying, working under conditions of short-term extreme temperature and pressure”.
The Prize named after A.A. Bochvar is awarded by the Russian Academy of Sciences for outstanding work in the field of metallurgy, general and radiation material science of non-ferrous metals, radioactive materials and steels.
