The All-Russian Scientific-Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) has held a charity action.

VAIM has purchased books on History of Russia, classic fine literature and patriotic military books written by soviet and Russian authors for the libraries from the Republic of Mordovia, Tambov, Novgorod, Kirov, Tver, Penza and Ulyanovsk Regions.

Also VIAM sent books issued by the institute. Among them were the biography of great soviet scientist and aircraft designer Robert Bartini, documentary art work about Ivan I. Sidorin, the founder of VAIM and Russian materials science and other publications.

It should be noted that books were purchased on voluntary donations of the employees of VIAM.
