A principally new vacuum high-energy ion-plasma technology was created for application of protective, strengthening and thermal-protective coatings for turbine and compressor blades and other parts of aviation engines and gas-turbine units, which provide turbine blades operability and allow to increase manyfold the lifetime of GTE and GTU parts.
A new effective technology of thermally-stimulated ionic enrichment (modification) of workpieces surface in the plasma of modifying material was created in 1998-2002, which allows to control the structure-phase state of the workpiece surface and to solve problems of surface engineering - increasing corrosion resistance, heat resistance, fretting resistance and etc. Also a process for increasing the corrosion resistance of steel high precision tightening bolts was introduced into serial production. Ion-plasma automated MAP-2 and MAP-3 units for application of ion-plasma protective and strengthening coatings were developed, as well as production of pipe cathodes made of coating materials based on nickel, cobalt and aluminum alloys was organized: SDP-1, SDP-2, SDP -6, VSDP -5, VSDP 7, VSDP -8, VSDP -9, VSDP -11, VSDP 13, VSDP -15, VSDP -16, AZh8.
