RUSSIA-CHINA: STRATEGY OF PARTNERSHIP
On September 29 , 2014 in the Embassy of People’s Republic of China in the Russian Federation a state reception on occasion of 65-th anniversary of PRC formation and establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia. By invitation of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plentypotentiary of PRC in the Russian Federation Li Hui, a chief of VIAM department «International cooperation and foreign economic activity» Vladislav Zyryanov visited the event.
The ceremony of opening the celebration began with a salutary address of PRC Ambassador. In particular, Li Hui noted, that USSR was the first country recognized People’s Republic of China and established diplomatic relations with the young state.
The Сhairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko addressed to the meeting with the return speech. She stressed, that «Russia greatly appreciates friendly neighbourly relations with China and will strive to make them still more open and comprehensive».
By the opinion of Valentina Matvienko, Russian-Chinese links today are strong and possess a considerable potential of development, but a strategic partnership of Moscow and Beijing is also a significant factor of international relations as a whole.
Vladislav Zyryanov in the name and on behalf of the General director of VIAM, academician of RAS Evgeny Kablov congratulated Chinese colleagues with the greatest occasion for the country, wished a strong health, successes in work, further prosperity and new achievements for the welfare of People’s Republic of China.
After a solemn part a meeting of Vladislav Zyryanov and the advisor of CPR Embassy on science and technology Mr.Zhang Shiming took place. In the course of the meeting a state of the current cooperation and perspectives of further mutual relations between VIAM and leading Chinese scientific organizations were discussed. The adviser Zhang Shiming expressed the hope, that a mutual work in future will be successful and fruitful too.
