«ТеstМаt-2014»: focus on non-destructive testing
On August 21-22, 2014, the V All-Russian conference on research and testing of materials properties «ТеstМаt-2014» was held at G. V. AKIMOV GELENDJIK CLIMATIC TESTING CENTER (GCTC), subsidiary of FSUE “VIAM”.
Leading scientists of VIAM and aviation industry enterprises presented their reports focused on nondestructive testing. In particular, X-ray, acoustic, capillary and magnetic test methods were considered.
On August 21, candidate of engineering science Alexey N. Lutsenko, head of Testing Center of VIAM has opened the plenary session. On behalf of the management of the institute, he has greeted the attendees and has expressed the words of gratitude for participation in the event. As Alexey Lutsenko has noted, «thanks to Testmat, specialists have received a ground for meetings and discussions of the major scientific directions in the field of tests and researches of material properties». In his opinion, "Testmat" helps to present results and technologies of different researches, which is very important both for implementation of scientific projects, and for work of industrial enterprises.
Аlexey Lutsenko made a report «Actual and problem issues of non-destructive testing. Experience and practice of FSUE «VIAM».
